Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is going to launch the upgraded version of Vivo V5 today. Vivo V5 Plus is expected to be priced at Rs 27,900. Vivo V5 was quite popular in the smartphone market after its launch in November last year. There are many new things to look out for in the all new Vivo V5 plus, other than the increased price from its predecessor. The Vivo V5 Plus is quite fresh and has a strong chip Funtouch OS 3.0.

Vivo V5 Plus is loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 5.5-inch full HD display of resolution 1080×1920 pixels. The phone is powered by the 2.0 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 625 chip which produces a 4GB of RAM to make the phone run smooth with even you are meant to do some hardcore multitasking.

Since the launch of the Vivo smartphones, The company has been giving extra attention towards the camera they install inside their phone sets. The camera department of Vivo always gets a different kind of focus. The rear camera on V5 Plus don a 16-megapixel powerful camera with LED flash unit, And in the front is a dual camera featuring 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel camera.

Many people aren’t aware of why the smartphones have dual cameras. Well, Dual camera helps the user to click an image which can produce ‘Bokeh’ effect like the one we have seen in the iPhone 7 Plus, but in V5 Plus it only features as the front camera, not the primary camera, unlike iPhone 7 Plus. The company has also been looking forward to increasing the storage space and this time they seem to be quite successful with a storage capacity of 64GB and can be expanded to 256GB.

Vivo V5 Plus also comes with a fingerprint scanner which is embedded inside the home button like in Samsung. Funtouch OS  is an Android-based operating system featured in all Vivo smartphones along with Vivo App store and iManager.

Vivo has achieved a lot in the smartphone market since its inception in 2009 and this is a very quick for any smartphone company, seeing all the competition around the world.
