OPPO A77 smartphone has been launched by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO in Taiwan. The all new OPPO A77 has amazing features including 16-megapixel selfie camera And a 4GB RAM and the price of this smartphone is 10,990 Taiwanese dollars which are approximately coming out to be 23,400 INR.

The smartphone is currently available online only and the pre-booking for this phone has already been started from May 19, 2017, and the shipment of the phones will be done after the official availability starts that is from May 26, 2017.

OPPO A77 is a selfie-centric phone and this is the main reason why it has a 16-megapixel front camera in it. The phone has two colour options one is Gold and the other one Rose gold. OPPO A77 has a metal unibody designing having an oval shaped home button on the front. The oval shaped button is encapsulated with a fingerprint scanner.

If we talk about the camera of the phone, the OPPO A77 has a 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture lens, LED flash for a better selfie. Whereas the rear camera is 13-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture lens and dual LED flash and also phase detection autofocus feature. The camera of OPPO A77 is fully loaded with features such as Beautify 4.0 and background blur effect which is responsible for creating a DSLR-like depth of focus effect while in portrait mode.

If we look at the specifications then OPPO A77 has a 5.5-inch Full HD(1098×1920 pixels) In-Cell display and powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750T SoC clocked at 1.5GHz. The smartphone has amazing body design with 7.3mm of thickness and has a weight of 153 gms only. OPPO A77 has 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable up to 128GB by using a microSD card. The OPPO A77 encapsulates the 3200mAH battery.

Talking about the connectivity aspect, the OPPO A77 gets hybrid dual SIM support with 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The handset has a fingerprint scanner at the front embedded into the home key. Having all the stylish features the OPPO A77 runs on the Google’s Android 6.0.1 Marshmellow encased under ColorOS 3.0 Operating system.

Comparison of OPPO A77 with OPPO A57
