Google has officially removed its chatting assistance Google Talk and has introduced another chatting service Google Hangouts the official chatting service by Google. After the 12-years of its operations, now Google has closed its Gtalk chatting service.

Gtalk started in the year 2005, Google has introduced it as a simple chat application for its users. Meanwhile, for the business application, Hangout by Google had been used. Before the Gtalk got officially off by Google, the option to switch to Hangouts was already given to the users.

Gmail is the world’s most powerful e-mail service provider by Google and Google Talk or Gchat was an inbuilt messaging platform for its Gmail users provided by Google along with the Gmail account. Gtalk was very simple and easy to use and users were used to it, now that it has been officially called off all the contacts of all the users will be automatically transferred to the Hangouts. Some new features such as GIF support will also be available for Gmail account holders.

There will be an amazing change in the chat window which is considered to be the ‘Modern Change’. Nevertheless, for those who still prefer the older version over the new look can still use the Dense Roster option that can be selected from the settings in Hangouts.

There are many other platforms available in for the chatting purpose by Google. So you can still use them if you aren’t comfortable using Hangouts.
