The country’s one of the biggest E-Commerce giants Flipkart said that it has built an innovative ‘anti-theft packaging’ technology for the safe and secure delivery across the country.

Satyam Choudhary, senior director at Flipkart had a given a statement to media and he said that “We are starting with high-value products (like mobile phones) but our goal is to expand it to all the items.”
“Within the e-commerce industry, cases of pilferage especially of electronic goods and high-end mobiles, have been a consistent challenge for e-commerce companies everywhere” he added.
According to Satyam Choudhary, this innovation of Flipkart will directly deal with the issues of pilferage. This innovation will also look into the matter of reducing packaging material cost, shipment volumes, and packing process and it will be a great competition for the other e-commerce professionals in the field.
Flipkart wants to earn customers trust and has eyes on the safe and secure shipments. “Designed specifically for the high-net products like mobiles, tablets, and watches. This unique and exclusive pilferage protection box which is currently awaiting patent grant incorporates special security features in shipment.”
Talking about the innovation the Flipkart explained that the packaging would take considerably more time, information, resources, and a unique technique to reopen and reseal the product in order to maintain the originality of the product.
This procedure will ensure that the packaging has not been tempered and if it does, then it will also indicate that the product has been tempered and the customer would not accept the package.
As in near future, Flipkart has its ‘Big Billion Day’ Sale i.e. from 20th to 24th September, So, Flipkart does not want to make any mistake and want customers to make full use of it. AS this new technology from Flipkart is completely tamper-proof and tamper-evident, said the company.
