Xiaomi recently launched their flagship device in its native country China. The smartphone looks serious to take down the competitors. As much of good news it was, India was eagerly waiting for Mi 6’s arrival however, Xiaomi doesn’t plan on launching the stunner anytime soon or it may not even launch it at all in the country.
The Chinese apple has been setting bars for the budget smartphone with back to back launch of Redmi 3s, 3s prime and little later Redmi Note 4 and 4A, getting record breaking sale in India and after a failed attempt to sell the mighty Mi5, Xiaomi needed something big and worthy and Mi 6 was the result. For those of you who don’t know the latest revealed product sports a 5.15-inch IPS LCD FHD screen that is exceptionally bright and black is really ‘black’. Screen is made in such a way to prevent maximum glare. Under the complete stainless steel body lies a mighty Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Octa-core processor clocked at 2.5 Ghz mated to 6 GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU for really hardcore gamers. The device will come in two storage variant of 64 and 128 Gigs. It runs the updated 7.1.1 android Nougat.
In the camera department, the smartphone stands out pretty well with dual camera setup with one 12 MP rear shooter having 4-Axis Optical Image Stabilization and other 12 MP being a telephoto lens. The front features a 8 MP snapper for the selfies and video calls. Both the camera clicks decent pictures, although it’s not enough to give Samsung Galaxy S8 and Apple iPhone7 a head on, but taking the price into account, it should be more than sufficient. Showcased at MWC 2017, Xiaomi also teased shiny and sturdy ceramic version of Mi6 in Blue and Gold combination, for the golden shade they used 18 karat gold.
The device earlier was expected to release in India but seems like Xiaomi is in no hurry. It, no doubt, is a huge setback for people who were waiting for the sexy smartphone. Still, you can get it on eBay India at a staggering price of 59,999rs. which is way more than Xiaomi would have announced. Ebay is selling the device through the third party and has no official involvement from the manufacturer. Would you buy it for almost 60K when you can get Samsung Galaxy S8 in only 58 grands?
