Acer introduced Predator Orion 9000, most powerful gaming desktop ever built. The tech has not garnered attention because of it being dedicated towards gamers but, the kind of hardware it comes infused with.
The IFA 2017 (Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin) is underway and it has already become a buzzing spot mainly because of the tech Acer has been unveiling this year. This time around the Chinese tech giant came out with a desktop aimed for hardcore gaming and believe it this is a desktop like no other.
The alien looking high tech RGB light emitting LED cabinet can be hooked up with Intel Core i9 extreme 18 core processor that Intel had announced a few months back and upto 4 Radeon RX Vega graphics or two Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080i SLIs.
Not just that, the Predator Orion 9000 comes supporting upto 128 Gigs of four channel RAM. Just like Lamborghini, this desktop lets you peek inside the engine without even taking the side panel off.
Now, all that power radiates a lot of heat but guess what that would not be a problem here. Acer has fitted the system with liquid cooling and Acer’s in-house Ice Tunnel version 2.0 that manages heat into different thermal spots. All the hot air gets drawn out by 120-millimeter fans that are housed on the front back sides and top.
At a staggering price of $1,999, the monstrosity you will be getting is more than enough to run everything at ultra high and still get butter smooth 60 frames per second.
Acer also launched Predator X35 monitor, also dedicated to gamers. The monitor has 35-inch WQHD panel having 3440 x 1440 pixels resolution and it has a 200 MHz refresh rate. Acer touts Predator X35 has 512 different LED zones that dim automatically if required.
