The Kapil Sharma Show welcomed yog guru Baba Ramdev as the special guest on 22nd of January. Sidhu started the show welcoming Baba Ramdev in his poetic style. Kapil asked Baba Ramdev that from where he have learned so much about the Yog. Baba said that he started learning from the very young age when he was of nine years. He initially learned it from reading books. Baba Ramdev then showed some of his asanas to everyone and everybody was so amazed. Baba Ji also told Kapil on his show that the person who laughs never gets heart disease or any other problem as it lowers stress and depression. He praised Kapil for making so many people happy and also for giving them a reason to laugh out aloud.
Baba Ramdev also said that it is very important for everyone to do at least 20 minutes of exercise and then Surya Namaskar. Kapil ran into the audience to escape from the Baba Ji exercise routine but Baba Ji picked him up and brought him back to the stage. Baba Ramdev also taught a person from the audience how to do Kapal Bharti.
Kapil also shared on his show that Baba Ramdev has invested his 2000 crore in UP for the Yog and covered 14km of a journey. Kapil also asked about his Patanjali products, his brand. He said that the Patanjali is related to his yog and he has very big ambitions for the Patanjali brand. He also revealed that whatever money he makes with the Patanjali is for the charity. The money is meant for those who need it. He also shared that in the coming years he aims to give 100% profit from the Patanjali products for the service of the nation. Kapil Sharma then showed him some of the products which are rumored to be of Patanjali or are upcoming, while looking at cactus sofa he quipped that it is meant for the Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif. He says, “Woh aadmi itna badmaash hai naam sharif rakha hua hai.”
Baba Ramdev didn’t even leave Navjot Singh Sidhu behind and towards the end of the show, he taught him some of the moves too. Overall the highlights of the show were Baba Ramdev and his unusual laughter. I would be really disappointed if it’s not used as a ringtone in the mobile phones in near future.
