The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally accepted the revaluation for 12th and 10th class board examination marks. According to the reports, it would be accepting the applications from today i:e 3rd of July on their official website. The decision has been taken by the CBSE after the students reported gross differences after re-totalling and they reached out to Orissa High Court for the help. The CBSE earlier announced this year that the board results would not revalued the marksheet from this year. However, after the interference of the court, CBSE accepted the request for the scrutiny of Class 12 and 10 marks from today on their official website i:e cbse.nic.in.
According to the reports, a notification is given by CBSE which says that ”Request for a maximum 10 questions in theory portion in twelve subjects will be entertained at the rate of Rs 100 per question. The last date for applying the application for scrutiny of answer sheets would be until 7th of July on the official website cbse.nic.in. All the students are requested to note that only the students who had applied for the photocopy of their answer sheet can apply for the revaluation of the exam. Also, it is said by the CBSE that class 12th evaluation of marks is limited to certain subjects.
The Revaluation of CBSE exam will only be done for 12th class Board for twelve subjects which will be Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Mathematics, Business Studies, Accountancy, Hindi Core and Elective, English Core and two English Electives (based on CBSE curriculum and NCERT curriculum). There is one more important information that even though CBSE 10th class result came out in grades this year, students who are qualified in the above criteria can also apply for the revaluation/scrutiny of their marks.
All the students are advised to be careful and go through all the notification which is provided on the official website of CBSE regarding the revaluation and scrutiny of marks by CBSE. The marking scheme of the subjects is available now on the website along with the question papers. The last date of accepting the application form is 7th of July.
