All of us have dreams and aims in our lives but how many of you actually design your path towards that dream of yours. When we see someone who is successful in his/her life, The first question comes to our mind is ‘If he can then why I can’t?’ Remember, God has all the good things in store for every one of us, maybe he just wants us all to work hard while chasing our dreams because you get what you deserve, yes you have heard it many times and remember it as a universal fact. Born to musicians-storytellers who were not making enough to be considered even middle class during that time, Jack Ma was born and raised with an elder brother and younger sister at the time of the rise of communist China. After graduating with Bachelor’s degree in English, he worked as an English teacher with $12 for a month. Jack has faced more rejections than you can imagine but he never gave up. He failed thrice in Middle School exams then afterward, Jack failed thrice in the entrance examination to join Hangzhou Normal University. He even got rejected to work at KFC when it first came to China. Jack persuaded 17 of his friends to invest and be his partner for his new venture- Alibaba and we don’t need to introduce you to Alibaba! Jack Ma is now the richest man in China with a net worth estimated to be $25 billion.
- Richard Branson – Virgin Group
Back in school, Branson was a dyslexic kid and used to perform badly in the examinations. He started his record business in a crypt of a church. In 1972, Branson opened a chain of record stores by the name Virgin Records. The brand grew rapidly in the 1980s and today Branson has his hands into many businesses like a record label, airways, and telecom. Branson has recorded a net worth of 4.6 billion and is now the 4th richest citizen of the UK.
- Dhirubhai Ambani – Reliance Industries
The man started Reliance with just $1000. Born to a school teacher in a village in rural Gujrat. But as they say that business is in the blood of people of Gujrat, Dhirubhai’s company is now featured in the world’s 100 companies. He used to live in one-room chawl with his family but when he died he left a whole empire for his children and family.
4.Steve Jobs – Apple Inc.
The name speaks for itself. The man who gave us the breathtaking smartphone iPhone. Steve’s biological parents gave him away for adoption. When his foster dad showed him technical things in their garage, he began to develop an interest in electronics. He couldn’t continue his studies at college because of financial conditions of his foster parents. He used to revive on free meals at the Hare Krishna Temple. There was a time when he used to trip on LSD and tried various other drugs as well. Jobs went on from a technician in Atari Inc. to the CEO of Apple Inc.
