We tend to think that this world is a peaceful peace right now as compared to before because that time there were wars and there were parts of the world, divided or united, and fighting against each other. Vladimir Putin: The Russian President has been topping the list for the fourth time in a row. Russia provided former NSA contractor Edward Snowden with an asylum. Edward disclosed the intelligence from the US for the first time to Russia. Putin is 64 years old and has been holding the President’s Office since May 2012. Earlier he was the Prime Minister of Russia from 1999 to 2000, then appointed as President from 2000 to 2008 and then again he became the Prime Minister from 2008 to 2012.
Donald Trump: The President of the United States has replaced his predecessor, Barack Obama, on the second number, after he won the general elections in the US in November 2016. Donald Trump is a real estate giant who also has a chain of hotels and luxury apartments. He is well known for his lavish lifestyle and of course his private airplane, Boeing 757. Donald Trump has defeated his counterpart, Hillary Clinton, to become the 45th President of the United States.
Angela Merkel: She is a German politician who is the serving as the Chancellor of Germany right now. She is on the Chancellor seat since November 2005. Angela is speculated to have the burden of the value of euro on her shoulders. She is also head of the European union. She has also been kind to around 1 million migrants who have shifted to Germany in the recent years. She is standing strong against the growing Russian influence on the continent.
Xi Jinping: We all know how the Chinese economy impacts the economies around the world. Its not an easy job to lead a country with such kind of economy and population. But Xi Jinping took the burden on his shoulders and has been kind in leading the country and making it more prosperous than ever. He took over the President’s seat in November 2012.
Pope Francis: Among the world leaders, Pope Francis is there to odd the list. He is the 266th and current Pope of Roman Catholic Church. Pope is the spiritual leader for almost 1/6th of the world’s total population. He also granted the right to the priests to forgive women for abortion.
