Anupam will be portraying the character of former Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh in his upcoming political drama based movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ which is based on the adaptation of Sanjay Baru, Manmohan Singh’s media advisor’s controversial book ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. The looks of Anupam Kher is resembling completely with former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Anupam Kher has done the complete justice with the appearance.

Ever since the poster of the movie The Accidental Prime Minister has been released, all the controversial eyes are on the movie now. As the movie is about the Former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh so people are wondering who will play the character of Sonia Gandhi and many other are thinking that how Congress Party have even allowed filmmakers to do this movie on the life of Manmohan Singh.

The Chairperson of Central Board of Film Certification or The Censor Board India, Pahlaj Nihalani have warned the filmmakers that the guidelines should be followed as this is a real-life character based film, he said “The makers of The Accidental Prime Minister, Producer Sunil Bohra, would have to get an NOC from Manmohan Singh Ji, Sonia Gandhi Ji and all the other real-life politicians who are part of narrative. This rule applies without fail. There are no exceptions” he said.

He added, “Although my current tenure as the CBFC Chairperson ends in January 2018 and this film will come up for sponsorship after that, I am sure the guidelines regarding biopics would remain unchanged.”

“Anupam Kher was himself the CBFC chairperson not too long so. Ashoke Pandit who consider himself a part of the CBFC is also a part of the film on Manmohan Singh Ji and Hansal Mehta who is writing the film claims to be a victim of the censorship guidelines every time this film is on release. I can’t imagine how these people cannot be aware of the NOC required for sensor clearance of films based on real-life figures” Nihalani added.

Talking about Anupam Kher Nihalani adds “He is such a versatile actor. At the age of 28, he had played an old man so brilliantly in the movie ‘Saaransh’. I am sure he will do full justice to Manmohan Singh Ji’s character, though it would have to be more expressions than words. As we all know, Manmohan Singh Ji hardly speaks. I am sure the dialogue writer would not have much to contribute to the character.”

We all are very much aware of the fact that Anupam Kher is really a versatile and hard working actor and seeing him doing something like this would be really amazing and exciting as well. You guys stay tuned to Insiderindian.com and don’t forget to like share and comment. Keep Coming Back !!!
