Bollywood Actor Paresh Rawal will be seen representing the character of the late Bollywood actor and father of Sanjay Dutt Mr. Sunil Dutt in the Sanjay Dutt’s biopic and Paresh Rawal is very impressed with the kind of work Ranbir Kapoor, who is portraying the character of Sanjay Dutt, is doing in the movie. He says the entire experience while shooting for the film was really delightful, he said “Working on the film has been an amazing experience because of Rajkumar Hirani, Ranbir Kapoor and writing of Abhijat Joshi. I feel Sunil Dutt Saab was very humble and he never had any vibes of stardom, so it has been gratifying experience playing him on screen.”

“It’s mainly the story of a father and son and working with Ranbir (who is playing Sanjay Dutt in the movie) has been especially a great experience because he is a brilliant actor, very terrific and a unique talent. I have worked with big names, whose acting capabilities are par excellence, but Ranbir is exceptional. Sometimes we just have to praise some people we have worked with but I can genuinely tell you that Ranbir is just phenomenal” he adds.

Paresh also shared that why he chose this role, he said: “A role which is well written, challenging and scares me to attempt that, I always want to do such kind of roles.” On comparing the three Khans of the Bollywood he said “I feel the comparison between these generations is not correct because everyone has come in this industry with their X-factor. Salman Khan his own charm and charisma and so does Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan is something different.”

“Aamir doesn’t rely on charm or anything. He is a total package and I feel now Aamir has earned more goodwill than Tata Birla. People come to watch his films as they know it will be good. His many years of continuous hard work has enabled him to earn that kind of goodwill among people. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan and Ranbir Kapoor have just started and they are capable. If they will get good material to act in, I feel they will prove themselves.”

When he was asked about playing the Modi he said “Although we still need to lock the script the role is very challenging. We need to go beyond PM Modi’s mannerism and I need to go beyond mimicry so it is becoming even tougher. But right now I am not preparing anything as I am seeing and meeting him every day. I want to start my preparation detached from everything.”
